Connecting Education to Career Pathways
This workshop represents a key component of ClickSafe Club's broader mission to bridge the gap between education and career pathways in STEM fields. By providing direct exposure to professional practice, young people can see how their studies in subjects like mathematics, science, and design technology translate into meaningful careers.
"What makes this workshop so special is that it shows young people the real-world application of everything they will be learning in the summer activities," explains Alaa Wehbe, STEM & Digital Education Lead at ClickSafe Club. "From climate resilience and design thinking to sustainable technology, they'll see how these concepts come together in professional practice to create buildings and spaces that serve communities."
The architecture workshop builds on themes that run throughout ClickSafe Club's summer programme, including sustainability, technology innovation, and problem-solving. Participants will be able to connect their workshop experience with other programme activities, creating a comprehensive understanding of how STEM subjects interconnect in professional settings.
The Hawkins\Brown workshop is a highlighted addition to ClickSafe Club's free STEM & Robotics Summer Programme, which runs from 29 July to 22 August 2025. The full programme offers young people aged 13-16 a comprehensive exploration of STEM subjects through hands-on activities, expert workshops, and real-world applications.
